Wondering if anyone can shed a light onto my dilemma here.

My 02 contract is up on the 16th July. I don't need a new handset, more then happy with what I have got.

I only have to providers that can give me coverage where I live, one Vodafone and the other is 02.

I am looking at SIM only deals ready to go on the 16th July.

Talkmobile, using Vodafone coverage, is consistently coming back with the best rates for me. I have a budget of £10 per month but want it as low as possible for at least 10GB of data

I have found two good deals, on being a 30 day contract for £7 which gives me 25GB data and if I do it through TopCashBack I get £13 back so £4 profit. I have checked the Ts and Cs and no where does it say I need to 30 day contract for a set period of time.

My other option is also with Talkmobile for £7.95 per month with a £40 voucher via MSE website. It give me 30GB data and it's on a 12 month contract. With the voucher applied it works out at £4.61 per month.

Option one seems like the better deal but I am wondering, is there really not a set period I need to have that 30 day rolling contract for ie 3 months and once the 30 days are up could I do another offer with Talkmobile or would I have to move away and then come back to them which could be a bit of a faff.

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions and input.

It's worth checking the topcashback requirements, on some cashback deals you need to keep the contract for longer than three months to get paid. You would probably need to port your number away and then back to get another offer at a later date.

If you don't want the hassle of changing networks then you can get 30gb data for £7.99 per month on O2 via Uswitch.

It's a 12 month contract and you get increases in April.

Uswitch takes you straight through to the O2 website and you just select the option that you are an existing customer and you want to retain your phone number. The contract kicks in straight away.

If you run into your next month's contract for any reason then O2 will adjust your bill pro rata and refund you accordingly.

Thank you, I have been with 02 for years and don't feel they always offer the best service so looking around to see what else I can get.

Yes, some of the topcashback require this on other offers but not on this particular one though. Still would mind the 7 for a few months with the cashback then port for a month a move back if I like it.

If you take option one you can change tariff after 30 days without the requirement to port out and port back if a better deal appears on Talkmobile.
