Two storey side extn - appx cost?
Hi all, We are considering extending our property (Two storey extension to the side) I googled and read up a bit, a lot of sites think £1000/sqm is a reasonable ballpark. I am not sure when that info was published - so is that still a good estimate to work my budget on? I tried ringing a few builders, they all want to see…

£460 to unblock a drain. Is this a rip-off?
My elderly 75 year old mother has just paid £460 to a plumber to unblock a drain. The plumber spent 55 minutes on the job. He used a jet and maybe some other device (sorry cannot be more specific). The plumber said it was not a difficult job, just a little time consuming. Is this a fair price or has my mother been ripped…

I live in a modern six storey block of flats in London, with two or three flats at each level.
