Small Stud wall quote?!

hello,

not posted on here for a while.

if any builders/joiners/general people who know what theyre on about could help id be very grateful!!

i recently had a quote for a stud wall putting up at the end of my bath, along with a waste pipe (around 1.5m) boxing in, with some shelving and a cupboard above it

i got quoted £360.00 which i thought was alright, but my other half is convinced that this is astronomical for such a 'small' job.

im getting someone else round tonight to quote for it, for comparison. I ideally would like a third quote, but getting a joiner thats free in the next four weeks round this neck of the woods seems like an impossible task.

just wondered in the mean time, if anyone could advise, or has had a similar job done and can advise whether my quote is about right?

Its probably a day and a halfs work plus materials. So that's a fair price.

And to be honest, if there is no one else available to do it (or even quote), then its avademic and it becomes a sellers market.
