Chimney stack repair
I have a loft conversion and it leaks the roofer has found that the two chimney stacks are dangerous. He has quoted £800 I live on the outskirts of London - fair price? He has shown a video showing that they are dangerous and it is our chimney - unless he is really good at video editing.

plumbing quote
Hi all, Had a small mishap and put a screw through a central heating pipe (a larger pipe around 1 inch in diameter). I called the plumber we use to service our boiler, and he said he could fit me in on the day, which was obviously good. This was around 0900 in the morning, so he just fit us in between a couple of his jobs.…

Replacing windows
Hello, I've just moved into a property with draughty aluminium windows and have received two quotes to have them replaced with PVCc double glazed windows. The quotes seem really high but I'm not sure. It could be due to the size of the windows. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. 5 windows and 1 patio door=£6222. Broken…

Is this quote (for extractor fans) reasonable?
Hi all, I've no idea about this kind of stuff, so I just wanted to know if this quote is fair. Very small house. 80s build. Kitchen on ground floor and bathroom on 1st floor.
