Quote difference in wall tiling vs floor tiling

Options
Building contractors are quoting £550 to tile 5m2 but *only* £70 for floor tiles.  When i queried this, i was told it was a more difficult process to tile walls.  When i queried the overall high cost of tiling i was told this is because the quality of their work and tools is high. I feel like she looked at me and thought "mug"

To give some context, we have just finalised on a new Wren kitchen and the contractor they put us in touch with for the supplementary works only got in touch when we were right down to the wire of confirming, in that we had to sign contracts two days after they came to confirm measurements and discuss other work.  I felt pressured to agree to this contractor of miss out on my delivery date and have to wait another two months.

I have signed the contracts, the new kitchen is being delivered in a month. Do I regret this, somewhat, but I cannot do anything about that now. This contractor is going to do the fitting at least but I am willing to spend some time looking around for someone else to do the other bits if I am being taken for a ride here.

My main question is there really a difference in complexity of tiling walls vs floors?
