Is this cheaper elsewhere?
I have had a quote of over £1700 from Solidor, it seems this style of a fully glazed composite door isn't widely available. I'd like a composite door but would prefer to pay less, can anybody recommend somewhere else to try please?

Garden clearance and landscape
Medium sized back garden. Looking to clear out all shrubs and lawn. Refit turf and paving area. Been quoted £4.2K - £6.5K. Lower end is a new company, higher end is established with 5 star reviews. Are we being seen off and if so can we haggle? Reckon it would be no more than 5 days work. North East area.

My British Gas Homecare policy on my boiler runs out in March. I am currently paying £78 pa. British Gas will move me onto a new Homecare cover costing £225.05 pa. Is this price hike fair? I can reduce the cost by agreeing to a £60 excess but even so this is a massive price uplift.

Garden studios problem
Hello I’m not sure this is the correct place to post this but was the closest category. I’ve had a garden studio installed - it’s ‘portable’ one. Right from the start they placed it too far forward (moved the boundary when I went on the school run) and once I knew I let them know I was not happy and let the head office…
