eicr cost

So, same question, there is a company doing an eicr report (domestic) for £169 with VAT. Is this an OK price and are the same checks used for landlords and also buying and selling house or should I get a difference certificate for electrics?

Is this quote fair?

There is a thread here you should take a look at:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5855292/gas-electrical-safety-certificate-buying-selling-home-buyer-report/p1

Quite a few members on here have used that company (including me) and they offer simple pricing (although I am pretty sure their prices have gone up a little since 2018) and they do checks for landlords, buyers and sellers.

Home Buyer Report – Standard £189

    Includes:
    Gas Safety Certificate
    Electrical Installation Condition Report
    Add Boiler Service +£30

    Landlord - Standard £79

    Includes:
    Gas Safety Certificate
    Boiler Service

    Landlord - Bronze £129

    Includes:
    Gas Safety Certificate
    Boiler Service
    Energy Performance Certificate

....slightly cheaper prices than what you are finding... D

P.S. Let us know how you get on...

    It's very cheap.

What is included and excluded depends on the extent and limitations agreed between the Contractor and the Client.

Prices have gone up a lot in a few years. This is a socially deprived area here, and I have been charging more than £150 for that for many years.
