Surf washing powder
I accept that this is possibly the most inane question I've ever asked in my life, I recently bought some Surf Washing Powder, the Lavender one, on the premise that it would give my washing a divine fragrance, how disappointed was I, I just did a whole load of washing and nothing, I took it out to put it on my heated airer…

Long delay in reviewing refund
I shopped in Lidl end of January abd purchased some gift cards! The brand I choose was faulty and wouldn’t activate after payment! They tried 3 different cards until one worked. They supposedly refunded after each card but the money never went into my bank! I complained and sent copies of receipts and they are still…

Supermarket Online shopping - is this a thing?
Wife is adamant that when online shopping if you place an order say tonight, with delivery for 2 days time, should any items currently on offer end, then you are charged the full price on the day - is that right? I would have thought what you pay at the time of the order is all you have to pay.

Spotted any examples of Valentine's price inflation?
Have you seen heart-shaped boxes of chocolates that cost more than larger standard boxes of the same kind of chocolate? Have you spotted Valentine's themed bouquets of flowers that cost more than their everyday counterparts? I'm after any examples of items costing more simply because they've been branded with hearts etc.…

Why does salt make me rant?
We all know that grocery shopping has become a serious business with prices rocketing in our supermarkets and shops so I won’t elaborate on that too much. But it really has angered me this week to find that I can no longer reach down to the bottom shelf to pick up a plastic 750 gram container of table salt without batting…

Morrisons Doubling Prices on some items - when inflation is 10%
I have been looking back at some old receipts from this time in 2020 for Morrisons and I can accept that some items have to have increased prices with the current rate of inflation. But there are several items that have pretty much doubled in price. This is one example. In October 2020 the fish was £2.79 now it's £5.25. A…

Sainsburys Nectar offer £2 off £20 T's & C's
Sainsburys send me Nectar offers every week, and recently a £2 off £20 coupon code has been included. I looked at the T's & C's via the link they show, and in the small print it says "Minimum redemption value £2.50". I just wondered - could this mean the £2 code isn't valid, or might I be entitled to insist on £2.50 off…
