Good evening
I am rather surprised by the price and quantity received of Coffee Mate recently.
Does anyone know of any coffee mate-alike product please?
Many Thanks

Agree completely, the price has gone mad. Worst thing I ever did was introduce Coffee Mate to my husband. He got addicted to it and would no longer have coffee without it putting 3 teaspoons in each cup and it was costing a fortune.
Dont know where in the country you are but Im in the North West where there is a chain called Quality Save.
They did a one.which was only 99p a jar and way cheaper than coffee mate but just as nice.
During covid that all disappeared and has never come back into stock. But, Quality Save now have one called Cafe Classic which is in a blue jar and is £1.79 for 400grms. He only uses one spoonful at a time and says it is just as nice so I now buy that.
I had noticed that B&M bargains had started to sell Coffee Mate in a much bigger taller tub and it was around £5 but lately Coffee Mate have changed the tub, even though its still taller it is now thinner so not a good deal. Even supermarket own brands of coffee whitener have risen to silly prices but the Quality Save one is still reasonable if you can get it.1 -
Thankyou for your suggestion, I am pleased that I am not the only one to have noticed. Unfortunately we don’t have a Quality Save in our area, more’s the pity.
I agree coffee mate is rather addictive!0 -
I could be wrong but I heard Quality Save are same company as Home Bargains.
Their signage looks similar1 -

Sadly they dont stock the same things though. I go in Home Bargains near us and they dont sell the coffee whitener in there and I just looked if it could be ordered online from Home Bargains but it is not listed.2 -
Home Bargains do a really nice alternative to CM at a fraction of the price will put a picture on in the morning for you.1

Thanks everyone. We have a home bargains near us so that will be really handy. Isn't it ridiculous how they have put the price up and shrunk the product too.!0
