Iceland App Glitch *Be Warned*

Hi,

Just to make anyone who uses the Iceland app aware of quite a big glitch.

After you've selected your items and are checking out you're asked to book delivery. After booking delivery your basket cost amount changes quite drastically. This is because once you've booked delivery the app forgets about the multi-buy discounts and charges you the full amount.

See the photos, one is the order in the app (the more expensive one) and the other is online on the Iceland website.

I've reported this to Iceland. It happened to me last week but thought it was my mistake but it obviously wasn't.

Yeh.... Same as I the other week. The total came to £43.... booked the slot. Expected £1 for carry bags. They then wanted approx £51 to pay..... I gave up on it in the end and took everything out the basket...... went to tesco.

And as their customer service is worse than abysmal don't expect them to show any interest in sorting it out if you do happen to be overcharged, they will just type platitudes and not actually attempt to put it right.  Rant over :(

Just noticed photo, I can't believe the price of the sausage & bean melts, used to be £1 (2 for £1.50 when on offer) now they've added Greggs name and charge £3.50 (£2.50 with offer) a box.
Haven't bought any for ages, but would try Aldi's  at £1.25

They've been selling the Greggs stuff for at least 10 years, they have't just "added Greggs name". The Greggs products at Iceland have always been a lot more pricey than any own-brand stuff.
