BA using bizarre exchange rate to calculate EU delay compensation ? Ideas ?
Hi all - We had bad delays and a flight cancellation by BA en route to Cairo on 26th Feb. We have FINALLY had an answer to our claim today and the offer is £998.92 or less than £500 for each of the two of us. BY my calculation in todays exchange rate it should be at least £515 a head? Voucher worthless
Aer Lingus cancelled my flight from Bristol to Cork in May 2020. I accepted a voucher. Aer Lingus no longer fly from Bristol to Cork. this means a round road trip of 300 miles to London or Dublin. They have refused a refund, told me to sell it to someone else. I feel I have been cheated I will never accept vouchers.
