Octopus SEG tariff barriers
My solar panels were installed in March 2023. I have been chasing an MCS certificate & G98 certificate since then in order to set up a SEG tarif with my energy supplier Octopus. My understanding is that an MCS certificate is not a legal or mandatory requirement, however, if you cannot obtain one if your installers were not…

I don't have an EV at present but will probably get one when I change cars in 2 years time. Please excuse the newbie questions I'm just starting to consider the whole…

Octopus Economy 7 tariff?
Does anyone know what the story is with Octopus and an Economy 7 tariff? A friend of mine said he has just switched to Economy 7 with Octopus. The night rate is cheaper than the 14.51p on the Octopus Flux tariff I'm on and is for a longer period (7 hours rather than 3 on Flux). I have a battery so a large majority of my…

My British Gas app hasn't been updating since 18.12.24
Hi all. I normally get a reading for both gas and electric after 48hrs (which is a pain). Since the 18th of December, I've had no updates, either from the browser log in or the app itself. Does that mean no information has been sent to the smart meter? If so, have I had free energy since that time? Thanks.

Hi all, As the title says, just recently had a Hive system installed in our home - for context boiler is fairly new, only about 2 years old.
