I am looking for an alternative to the MSE cheap energy club.
It appears to not being updated as tariffs change, major example is the quoted a fixed Octopus tariff which ceased to be available 9 days ago. Don't know if energy companies have to pay to be included and Octopus don't pay so ar not always included.
As cheap energy club is no longer a reliable comparison site are there any others which provide similar information. Thanks.

Octopus pulled the plug on the V3 offer (probably because it was too good a deal with no exit fee) so their best deal at the moment is the V2.littlemoney said:I am looking for an alternative to the MSE cheap energy club.

So to answer your question, yes the Cheap Energy Club is being updated which is why you can't find the V3 deal.0 -
Cheap energy club is one of the only comparisons (I know of) which covers the whole market and doesn't exclude/deprioritise those suppliers who don't pay to be included. There will be occasions when the info is slightly out of date - sometimes that could be down to MSE, often it's down to the suppliers themselves.littlemoney said:I am looking for an alternative to the MSE cheap energy club.

In any case, including too many quotes (even those that are unavailable) is a minor issue, just pick the next best one. If you use a less comprehensive comparison site you may be missing valid quotes, which is much harder to rectify.0 -
