Posting Sodastream with CO2 canister
I understand that the canisters are either restricted items or prohibited with Royal Mail & most other couriers & non-compliance risks a fine. But I just can’t find any info on whether I can actually legally post this contained within the Sodastream itself or not. I’ve been advised to look at ADR exemptions, but this is…

Warranty problem with Ebay seller.
Hi all I bought a blender and grinder pack from Ebay a couple of months ago. The grinder is now faulty. Return is not possible through Ebay and the seller just quotes Ebay 30 day rule at me. I thought electrical items had a 12 month warranty in the UK? Am I wrong?

Facebook Marketplace seller ignoring messages after I’d paid for item but not received it.
This is a weird incident. I’d bought an item that was advertised on Facebook Market place. had a few conversations and paid through her bank account, not a huge amount £5 + £3 postage. This was on 14th August, she said she’d post next day. Few days later item still not arrived, so messaged again. She was full of apologies,…

LPs and Singles
I'm in the process of clearing my brothers flat out - there are about 50 LPs and 50 singles - some ok ( U2 , Bob dylan, Floyd etc ) etc other a bit more random. Question is: I s it worth selling as a job lot - it would have to be collect as they are too heavy to post, also my brother was not the most hygienic so they smell…

It's Finally Happened - Got a Negative After 22 Years on Ebay!
Sold a small toy for £5, not a brilliant photo but fully described in the details. Buyer had left me negative feedback as the colour in the photo is off, without contacting me. I would have offered a partial/full refund - what ever they wanted.Actually feel quiet upset! Stupid really. So I have disputed the neg and offered…

Etsy order issue - wrong gift received
Hi, I wonder if someone can offer any advice on a problematic Etsy purchase. * I found a bespoke gift I liked on Etsy for my wife’s 50th birthday. * The estimated delivery on that particular Etsy site was 20th September and my wife’s bday was 15th September. * However the seller said she should be able to do it in time for…

Paypal - item not received case
I opened a case with Paypal for a parcel that arrived with just one item (I ordered two). They kept asking for more information all I could tell them was the same thing again and again, it has been a month! Today I get a message saying to fill this form out and send it back, I have never before have I been required to do…

Packlink approved compensation but haven't paid and are ignoring me
I'm just after some advice for what my options are for chasing this up. I sold an item for £60 on eBay back in June. I purchased an InPost postage label via Packlink on eBay's website. I paid to insure it for the full amount. The item was never delivered. I contacted Packlink who, although incredibly slow, eventually…

Ebay withholding future payments
I'm fuming with Ebay as they continually make the selling process more frustrating for us. I sent an item last week, paid Royal mail online, printed the label and dropped off at the post office with a receipt as proof. Buyer filed a request for a refund as it hasn't turned up in the time allotted. I have taken a scan of…

Ebay - returns policy!

delays in ebay funds processing
Be warned, some people (including me) are experiencing issues with funds showing as processing rather than clear - I've seen mention of this on other forums and just checked and all my payments received for the past 8 hours approx are still processing. I'm used to seeing funds go from received/processing to finished in a…

Ebay Location Display Issue - Solved!
Hi All I've just upgraded my laptop, Windows 10 and using Edge browser. When I try to find items within a set area, say skateboard - within 20 miles of my postcode - I get every skateboard in the country, regardless of distance! Solved - Can't delete this post though!

suspended
just been indefinitely suspended and I find their attitude appalling. they basically don't give you a reason, won't discuss it and there's no right of appeal. If you send an e mail you get a pre prepared message telling you what you already know and when you discuss online they just end the conversation. As you have been…

Ebay Buyer Cancellations - argh
Just a rant really - in the last 48 hours I’ve had 2 sales and then requests to cancel (different items), and a non-payer on a third sale. I’m a private seller so not churning over lots of sales where I’d expect a % to go wrong anyway, I only ever have about 20 things listed at the most. One person actually paid and then…

Paying to make your own label (Amazon)
Bit of a strange one. Have they recently changed their policy? I've returned a few items recently (I've been a Prime member throughout if that's a factor and still am) with no charge on any of the return options. Today I put in to return an item that is faulty and for the first time in a long time it isn't all free - some…

Promotional auction list ended but now get an offer message
Promotional ("80% off final value fees") auction listing ended but now received an offer via a message. I understand that I am liable to fees if I conduct a sale as eBay introduced the item and effectively the person who has offered. My question is would the "80% off final value fees" still be honoured by eBay despite the…

Where to sell unused sets of stamps?
I have several 'presentation sets' of unused stamps. As they are 'picture stamps' royal mail says they do not require exchanging to QR coded stamps. They are nice sets as they are though, and it seems a shame to open them and start to use them, and to be honest I don't send many letters or cards at all, I'd probably never…

Amazon selling. Selling limits and potential scams.
I used to sell on ebay and am now considering selling my own items on Amazon which would be around four or six items per month. My concerns are firstly that as a new seller I may get scammed / items not received cases and will not be able to argue my corner due to a lack of feedback. I had about six attempted scams under…
