I have been using Paypal for a couple of years whilst selling donated items for a charity. Recently, I have bee continually asked to prove I'm not a robot, select pics and have a code sent to my phone even though I have asked it to 'remember me'. If I have Paypal open but am looking at another tab on the laptop for a…

OnBuy.com user Reviews
I decided to give OnBuy a try but I had a bad experience. My purchase did not arrive and the Supplier was not responding to my emails, I escalated the issue to PayPal who found in my favour and I received a full refund from PayPal. So I have not lost any money. I gave the Supplier a 1* review on the OnBuy website but it…

Money Moral Dilemma: Our neighbour is selling clothes we've given them - should we say something?
This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... My partner and I gave our neighbour some clothes that no longer fit us, as well as some expensive designer underwear that had never been worn. To our horror, they're now advertising what we've given them for sale online. Should we say something about them taking advantage of…

Listing Returns - BIN and Auction-Style
Is there any difference in return policies between Auction-Style and BIN listings? I'm a private seller, and generally only list when there is an 80% off fee's offer (considering the £1 max fee seems to be dead now). Generally, I've always listed auction style with best offer as I understand with auction-style listings…

Ebay not functioning properly
I get hardly any views for my items these days and therefore hardly any sales. Earlier in the year I had fewer items listed and a higher rate of sales. I know some people might put it down to the cost of living crisis and people cutting back on unnecessary purchases. However, I was wondering if it might be a technical…

New listing page
I have spent ages trying to list something on the New listing page when previously I could do it in a few minutes. Is there any way of getting the old listing page back? Why do ebay constantly change things when they are perfectly fine as they are?

Sold a PS4 on Ebay now seller complaining
Recently sold a Playstation 4 on Ebay that had a faulty hard drive. I listed that it had a faulty hard drive, put for spares or repairs in the condition drop down menu and put it again in the listing description. The buyer has messaged me yesterday saying that the disk drive is faulty, but was working the last time I used…

Another Vinted question
Hi, I recently bought a waterproof snowsuit on Vinted. The item was described as in "perfect condition" with a picture of the front of the suit and label. I picked up the parcel and discovered part of the suit is torn on the hood with a hole through the waterproof layer. The suit has significant wear and tear to a point…

Seems to have changed - what do I do when a buyer hasn't paid - I am sure there used to be an option but cannot find anything. Does it just time out by itself? Thanks.

Collection only item question
Buyer has just collected an item from me. There is no option for me to scan or enter a code which he brought with him - looking under sold section and the only option is "marked as dispatched" or "print a label". Where should I be looking? I have done collections before and scanned before but this time I have no option.

Parcel rejected by Royal Mail machine
I ordered an item from a website similar to ebay. It was £20 buy it now and the seller is a shop I had visited numerous times in person when I worked nearby and I trust the staff. The item was posted on 6 Sept at a post office. They sent it Royal Mail second class tracked -- a service which tracks it when the sender posts…

Selling a Treadmill
Hello group! I need some advice regarding the sale of a Treadmill. My partner bought a Treadmill back in August without thinking of where she was going to set it up. I don't think she actually realized how much space it would take. We recently moved as well so we are still going through buying furniture and moving things…

Selling To Europe...Too Many Problems
After over 20 years selling on Ebay, I've finally had to stop selling to Europe. Since the Brexit customs rules came in there has been items being undelivered, items being returned by customs even though all paperwork is correct, and postage purchased through Ebay. I even include a copy of the order in a clear envelope on…

Facebook marketplace paypal issue - scam ?
Recently, one of the facebook users agreed to buy an item on Facebook Marketplace for about 200£. Since he was not local it needed to be posted and I did not want to pack and post it.
