International buyer - how to deal with VAT paid?

A buyer in France has bought an item from me. Ebay have collected VAT payment on his behalf. There's a number in the order, listed as 'Tax Details' in the app (format: FRXXXXXXXXXXX). Do I need to put down this number anywhere on the customs declaration form to ensure the buyer won't be paying VAT twice?

Here is a page from ebay describing how to use the number you have been given (an IOSS code). When you book it in with a carrier there should be a field where you can enter it. With Royal Mail book it in online and it ask if you have sold via Ebay or another marketplace and lets you enter the number. This assumes that you are sending it yourself directly to the buyer rather than using GSP.0
