UPS are useless

I sincerely hope UPS PR dept reads this forum because your company are useless. So I receive a notification there are fees to pay. I can either pay online or the driver can collect payment. Driver shows up and says I haven't paid and not be delivering my parcel (was that a sarcastic smug grin I observe) I then show him the notification - driver can collect payment. He says - that's wrong he has no means of collecting payment. I would have to pay online.

What the hell are you playing at UPS. Had you said in the notification - online payment only, I would have paid it online already. Why is it that big companies can never get the simple things right.

Maybe that's what the U in UPS stands for - USELESS.

Why would driver show up if he is not delivering your parcel?  Sounds dodgy to me.

I've never heard of a driver collecting payment for UPS.
As above I sense something more to this.
Do you know what the parcel is? Were you expecting to have to pay extra when it arrived?
