I received counterfeit or fake Chinese Blu Rays.

I bought a box set of Blu Rays (a video disc similar to a DVD) on eBay and received what appear to be counterfeit Chinese produced disks in poor quality packaging.
What is my best course of action?
I would normally raise a claim for 'not as described' and return them at the seller's cost. That would mean the seller gets them back and is able to resell them and attempt to con someone else.
Is there anything else I can or should do?
Will eBay care about counterfeit goods?
Thanks

A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Yes, Ebay have a policy against counterfeit goods but in practise all they will do is cancel the listing and it’s normally only high end and designer goods they look for. Without Ebay getting an expert to examine your Blu Rays, whose to say they are counterfeit? Even you yourself didn’t say they they were counterfeit, you said they “appear to be counterfeit” which is slightly different. Coming from China it’s highly likely they are fake but still hard to prove until examined.
Your dilemma is whether to open a dispute, send them back for a refund or keep them and take the hit. Either way you are still able to leave negative feedback for the seller to warn others

Just return it for refund and move on. A single person reselling a counterfeit item isn't going to make a huge difference to the multi-million counterfeit market and there's little more you can do. The seller has probably sold another 50 units in the time you received yours.
Don't worry yourself - raise a claim and return for refund, and report the seller to eBay.1 -
Ebay's policy on counterfeit is that you return it to the seller for a refund - which I think is actually contrary to UK law but that's what they tell you to do when you say you were sold a fake.
If you don't return it, Ebay won't refund you.
You can report the listing but like any other report to Ebay it won't generally do very much by itself.1
