eBay, how do I undo 'payment received'?
Hi, I accidentally clicked 'payment received' for an item I sold at the weekend to an overseas buyer, my fault for rushing. There used to be an option to undo payment received but I can't see it. Is there a way that I can mark it as still outstanding? TIA

Ebay purchase history
Another new annoying feature, On my purchase history underneath each purchased item is now an advert/sponsored items listing for "Frequently Bought Together " Might not be so bad except the first item on the list of 3 is the item purchased above and the other two have no relevance to me whatsoever...

DPD prohibited items scam
I recently sold a projector on eBay. I used DPD local door to door and paid for extra I surance and the package was over £200. The package turned up damaged (it looked as though it has been dropped from a height or kicked around the depot). I made a claim through DPD and this was declined because a projector is a…

Item potentially delivered to wrong place
Just been contacted by a buyer who says they haven’t received an item. Was 2nd class small parcel Royal Mail. Tracking says is delivered, the RM app just shows a GPS location. The buyer seemed to think it might have been delivered to a neighbour. They are perfectly friendly at the moment, but is there anything I can do my…

Royal Mail postage weight problem, under-weight limit item refused by Post Office
Hi, I am seeking opinion of others to establish if I'm wrong or not. I send a fair few letters by Royal Mail 2nd Class using labels generated from a sales platform. The letters are always within the standard letter size and weight limit of 100g. The sales platform auto-populates the letter weight. Today one of the labels…

Unrealistic postage expectations
Is it me or are buyers becoming more and more unreasonable with delivery times? I sold an item Wednesday evening, I have dropped at the parcel shop this morning, but the buyer has already messaged asking me when he will receive it as it should have arrived today. ( I mainly use Yodel 2/3 Day) I've had this more regularly…

Counterfeit items warning
I fell foul of EBay’s AI counterfeit item when selling a cosmetic type product that came out of a collection we bought that we wouldn’t use. Without much hope I pressed the appeal button, I assume that goes to a human as I have now been informed that my appeal was successful and my listing has been restored. Except it…

Repeated issues with collection codes

On various forums there are always lots of threads about ebay selling limits and how to increase them. My current business account was opened in around 2000 and I've always had about a £1,000,000 monthly limit which I have of course never ever used. However I have always poodled along on my private accounts (dating from…

Dishonest buyer cost me money, is legal action likely to be successful?
So first I will be upfront, this is more a matter of principle than money as the buyer chose to deliberately abuse the system and defraud me. I sold a monitor on eBay, working properly, original box, the ad had full screen tests etc. I send it out to the buyer (cost £21), after six days the buyer claimed not as described…

Am I the consignor?
Bit of an error from Amazon. I ordered trainers from the UK website, but they were actually sent to me by Amazon US. But, they sent the wrong size. It seems damn silly to send the wrong size halfway around the world, doesn’t it? So, I now have the task of returning them. I have packaged them up, and affixed the address…
