I believe you get the money..unless you actually purchased the Evri service through eBay

If this is a simple delivery items then was it buyer pays or seller pays?

If buyer pays then buyer will get a refund of their postage paid when the label hasn't been scanned into the system after 30 days - and anything you pay to RM will be out of your pocket. If it was seller pays (ie free postage) then you should get a refund again after 30 days (although there are reports online now that some sellers are saying they never did get a refund) , but again you won't be reimbursed for the RM label.

I made an error for the postage choice when listing, as PO much closer to me and would have paid the difference myself but not all the postage.  Buyer paid for postage.

Well then as above, if this was an SD sale and buyer paid then they will get a refund for the postage they paid, but you won't be able to recover any postage you pay for using a different postage method.

It might be worth seeing if your PO takes Evri items, as many do. If not all you can do is apologise to the buyer and cancel sale, and make sure that you have removed Evri as an option for SD. The caveat to that is that ebay do say your postage choice can be over written in some circumstances.
