Hi all, I’m doing quite a lot of uk at the moment which I’m putting on my credit card and clearing every month. It’s got me thinking about if there’s anything I could be doing by way of cash back cards or Avios(?) or any other scheme to benefit in some way. I’m spending about £600 on fuel and £500 on (non chain) hotels (I…

Capital One - Recurring Payment Authority (RPA) not showing on their app.
I wanted to know if any RPA's existed on my Capital One CC but despite them saying I could manage this via their Mobile App I can see no facility for showing these future charges neither on their app or website. Ref: How to Stop Automatic Payments | Capital One There is a reference to the subscription manager tool though I…

Zable - Can't stop repayments?
Does anyone else here use Zable? I've been struggling to pay off my debts and last month made the difficult decision to let everything default because I just can't afford to pay anything at the moment. I cancelled all my direct debits but my Zable card, which is MOBILE APP only, won't let me delete/stop payments. Payments…

I checked my credit report apps yesterday, TotallyMoney being the first one and saw that I was 100% pre-approved for an Onmo credit card at £500 credit limit. I decided to check their website as I hadn't heard of them before and did an eligibility check on there. It came back approved for £500 credit limit and bought up…

Amex points --> Miles & More
I am wondering whether there is a way to get Miles & More (Lufthansa) miles via a UK credit card nowadays. I saw that one can transfer Amex points into Singapore airlines miles, but I am not sure they can be converted to Miles & More afterwards. All UK credit cards seems to be stuck with Avios. But maybe there is still a…

Does this mean Ive been accepted and will get a credit card?
Sorry to sound dumb, but does this mean I have been approved? I signed up via the link on here when I put my details in to check eligibility and was approved with only Virgin, which I'm surprised about, as I have a poor credit score. Abit surprised I got approved still, Is this just a pre-approval before another check?

Spending limit reduced from £3500 to £100
Barclaycard Platinum. Would this be because I rarely use the card? I have an Experian score of 999, only one other credit card (zero balance) and no debt or borrowing. Checking the app, it says I cannot increase my spending limit as it has been imposed or something like. Experian updates at the end of the month so I'll…

Paypal, Klarna buyer protection vs credit/debit card chargeback, which is best?
Hi everyone, I couldn't find definitive advice on the MSE website nor any existing forum threads which answer this, so please excuse me if they're there, I guess search engines aren't what they used to be. I know about S75 protection for purchases on credit cards over £100 (and below £30k?). This question is not about…
