Section 75 Claim to Tesco Credit Card

Following Tesco Bank’s failure to address my section 75 claim against NowTV I made a DSAR to Tesco Bank. I’ve had no response from the ICO regarding Tesco’s not dealing with my claim.

Any advice or what I can do next? I really don’t want to go through the courts as I don’t have the time or the patience to travel to sort something like this out.

Please explain the S75 against now TV. As I'm not aware of them selling anything over £100

You need to provide some timeline of your DSAR request.

Why would the ICO respond to a DSAR to Tesco? Or are you missing a step and you complained to the ICO that Tesco hadn't responded to the DSAR?

When did you submit the DSAR and did you follow their instruction on how to raise it?

Similar to the above, can't see anything thats over £100 on NowTV to enable a S75 claim.

The OP can confirm (or otherwise) but if you loaded up a NOW TV broadband package with all the extras you might make three figures.

There would still be a question if you were paying £40 for entertainment package £30 for Films and £40 for Sport if that is a single item or if you have bought three separate items all under £100 each

    S75 is per item.
So loading various packages to make a total of over £100 would not be covered by S75.

Don't want to speculate about what the OP has actually signed up for but it's possible to add various Sky streaming extras to the 24 month Now TV BROADBAND contract, not meaning the monthly Now PAYG packages.

The "various" again implies they are multiple items so would need to be over £100 each

    Still the same.
Each package is it's own entity as far as S75 goes. So no matter how many you add. Only way S75 comes into play is if ONE item is over £100 👍

As above, if you're looking for guidance on next steps then explaining more of the original story would help - what was the basis of your claim and how did Tesco explain their rejection?  Have you escalated it to FOS, which would seem a more obvious route than DSAR/ICO if you're looking to contest Tesco's decision?
