Travel to USA with covid recovery documents
Hi, I recently tested positive for covid and mean't to fly to New York in a week. I'm still currently isolating and on day 8 and still doing positive LFTs. I know that you're not meant to do a PCR for 90 days after the positive as it may still show as positive. I'm just worried that if I was to go for a PCR before the…

Randox unused PCR test refund
Hi We were in Barcelona at the weekend and I panic ordered two PCR tests as we thought the new regulations would come into force before we got back on Monday afternoon. Thankfully they didn’t but I’m now left with two extra tests. The Randox website says they are non refundable but also says you can cancel within 14 days,…

2 day PCR if you’ve had Covid within 90 days?
Hi, does anyone seem to no if you would still require a two day PCR for returning from Spain to the UK if you’ve had Covid within 90 days previously? I rang 119 and was told I wouldn’t as it can give dodgy results yet there seems to be nothing mentioned on this scenario on Jet2 or anywhere for that matter. Thanks in…

On behalf of a lot of tourists I'd like to know what rights we have in getting refunds for flights and hotels in Vienna. Australia Visa refund due to COVID
Hi, On the 16th May 2020 we applied for a Skilled - Nominated (subclass 190) visa for Australia. Our invite to reply was received the day the UK went into lock down and as you only have 60 days to submit the application we proceeded at risk rather than lose the invite. However, we did not at the time fully appreciate the…

Onsite Day 2 test Question
I'm just making plans for a short trip to Germany soon and navigating through the required Day 2 test options on our return. I'm just puzzled why the MSE guide doesn't mention the onsite testing which some of the companies are offering at £1 or less. Is this not an acceptable option as it would be quite a saving. Seems…

NHS guidelines?
A relative has had to go in to a hospital (private) for a knee replacement operation. He's been in for three days and has not been allowed any visitors. Apparently the nurse nearly fainted when he even mentioned it, as if he was plotting to blow up the building. What on earth is this? All of life has thankfully returned to…

Spain restrictions
We were due to travel to Spain in December with our 13 year old son who has had one vacation and therefore is classed as unvaccinated by Spain so is now unable to enter Spain. Given this would the airline, Ryanair unfortunately, have to cancel and refund or give vouchers for the flights for him and or us as his parents?

Vaccination records have vanished
I'm double vaccinated and have used the NHS Covid pass service a couple of times to generate pdf vaccination certificates for travel. I am travelling in December and I have logged in to obtain a current certificate but all I can now see is my name, date of birth and a yellow box with 'No Covid-19 records found' inside. I…

My Covid vaccine does not show my middle names, so it does not match my passport full name.
My vaccine certificate does not show my middle names, but my passport does. Most sites state that the certificate must match the full passport name. My surgery says that NHS does not use middle names. Has anyone with middle names successfully travelled abroad, USA in particular, using a vaccine certificate without their…

Medical repatriation & flying phobia
I like to cruise because: 1. It's awesome, and 2. I don't have to fly! I have a fear of flying, however, I have to have travel insurance that covers repatriation (in case I get Covid-19 and have to quarantine abroad etc.) My current insurance provider said that it cannot guarantee that it would provide other means of…
