Travel to USA with covid recovery documents

Hi, I recently tested positive for covid and mean't to fly to New York in a week. I'm still currently isolating and on day 8 and still doing positive LFTs. I know that you're not meant to do a PCR for 90 days after the positive as it may still show as positive. I'm just worried that if I was to go for a PCR before the flight it will come back as a positive. So the only way I've seen to get around this is to get the covid document of recovery.

Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the covid recovery documents. I have seen on the CDC and Federal websites that it accepted for travel from the UK to USA. I'm worried that when I get to the airport I'm going to be having an argument because BA will not accept it and won't be allowed on the flight. BA don't want to give me any information on it and don't really seem to know a lot about it. I have searched the internet and haven't found any definitive answers, hoping someone could help me out.

Thanks
