Is this Omicron text a scam?
My wife received the below text message on her mobile phone this morning. Googling strongly suggests that it is a scam. She is not registered with any test and trace and the only people she has had contact with recently are friends who would have almost certainly phoned her if they had Covid.

Care home owner stalling on paying £500 Covid bonus to staff
My sister-in-law works in a care home and she asked when she can expect the £500 Covid bonus for working through the pandemic. The care home owner told her that the bonus can't be paid to staff until the home reaches full occupancy. I don't think the owner has a right to use that money to help her own cash flow and I'd…
