A local farmer has a campsite on his land, he has designated one week in school holidays for a free break for local families who are struggling. He has arranged sponsorship from a fish and chip shop, camping firm, local brewery and a taxi firm, along with cash donations from other supporters to ensure families can make memories together and have some fun.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. Seeing lots of good-hearted people donate their Energy Rebate to charities if they feel they can manage without it has really lifted my spirits. It’s sad that charities are relied on so much now but it makes me feel warm inside that there are still folk who would voluntarily give up money handed to them to help people they don’t know. We don’t always see that level of kindness day to day but it is out there
thank you to them all.
