Can hotels still quote 20% VAT
Hi all, does anyone have any experience with this new 5% VAT for hotel rooms? I’ve got an invoice in for a group booking today stating all prices inclusive of 20% VAT. re. location of Premier Inns in Bristol
I can see that there are 2 in Central Bristol (Haymarket and King St). Is one better than the other for access from Temple Meads station and for pedestrian exploring in the City Centre? I am considering a mini break for 2/3 nights. Or do you recommend a different 2 or 3 star hotel? I looked at Travelodge but the reviews…

Classic/vintage wheel question
I'm after a couple of press on hub caps like the one in the picture for my trailer. One got lost and the other is looking a bit worse for wear (mind you so is the wheel!) Selling a Static Caravan
Trying to help some friends out. They wish to sell their static caravan, but have been told by the site owner that in order to do this, they have to empty it at the point they wish it to go on sale, and are not allowed to use/enter the caravan again. Is this legal? They have recently paid £4000 in fees, which they have…

Had our first post-lockdown hotel overnighter last night at the Dunblane Hydro Hilton - spending a voucher I got for my birthday earlier in the year, and very nice it was too. Our evening meal was on the menu at £29 per person, nowhere on the menu did it say the price was VAT exclusive. After the meal, the bill came, and I…

Somewhere above the clouds?
My husband and I love cloud watching. We very often point out pictures in clouds and I love seeing the 3d effect of white clouds moving in front of darker clouds.
