What's the cheapest way for a family of 2 adults / 3 children to visit Alton Towers for 2 days midweek over the next few weeks? We have used all our Tesco vouchers so they are not available. We do have a Blue Light Card.

Hotels.com failed to notify actual hotel of booking, leaving me without a room. Refund required
Booked a hotel in the Lake District for one night using Hotels.com. Paid by debit card. Turned up at the hotel a week later to find the hotel in question had no record of the booking and no rooms available. Please advise re Insurance for UK Group house holiday
We have booked a house for a week in the UK and have been advised to take out insurance for it. Do we need to purchase new insurance for the multiple family group to cover this or would all of our individual family policies be adequate.
