Disappointed by Freeview
I thought I would save some money by ditching the TV part of my Virgin service and getting Freeview instead. I paid £200 to have an aerial installed and bought a Manhattan Freeview box costing £169. Then I tuned into the channels and got a nasty shock; I was expecting the whole pageful of channels that are displayed under…

Moving home - move sky or start anew?
Moving home, is it better to cancel Sky and start a new account or keep and move the existing account? Their website is awful, it just keeps sending me back to the deals and offers page, ie Sky Glass and sport upgrades. I can't seem to find a list of different packages available. I can see I'm paying too much at the moment…

Which stick/box that will pause /record?
TV Advice wanted please - so confused by options. We had Sky Q boxes in 2 rooms, have now reduced to £10 per month for Sky Essentials in my room - free off air and can pause/record. In Husbands room we have a old Sky HD plus box, uses different LNB on dish. We could spend about £50 for hybrid LNB so we can also have off…

I want to cancel sky
Hi all i want to cancel sky. But I’m abit confused. If we don’t have sky do we just plug the wires from the sky dish into our tv (freeview built in) and would it still work for free channels?? I’m not to worried about recording as you can get it all on catch up. I’m confused as when I move the Ariel’s from the sky box to…

What happens when Sky Q cancellation goes through?
I put in my 31 day cancellation notice a while back because my contract was up and they were offering me ridiculous terms to recontract. My Sky tv subscription is ending on Sunday. What happens then? They haven't sent me the packaging to return the box but when it cuts off on Sunday, will I still be able to use the box for…

Couldn't find a thread anywhere else. Has anyone else not received their free Apple TV subscription from Currys? I made an eligible purchase on Black Friday and still waiting for a link or voucher code for the free Apple TV. Contacted them through live chat twice now and still nothing. Just wondered if anyone else was…

Sky Stream
Hello, I'm considering Sky Stream, Sky's no-dish, Internet only service. However I can tell how it works in terms of catch up, as it doesn't record anything. Basically Id like to know if all programs are available to watch later? Some programs aren't available through the usual streaming apps, I'd assume because of…

Sharing Apple TV
I have signed up to a 6 months free trial of Apple TV through Sky. I know you can share your Apple TV with other households but is it any different if the free trial is done as a Sky customer offer? If it can be shared, does my family member use my Apple ID and password to login and enjoy Apple TV at their home?

Charged for Netflix by both Sky & Netflix
I'm probably on a hiding to nothing here but just wondered if anyone else been in a similar situation and managed to get any money back? About a year ago when renegotiating my Sky account they included Netflix. They sent an email with link to migrate my existing Netflix account to Sky. I can no longer access that webpage…

Netflix/scam?
Hi, I regularly get (100% genuine/looking) emails from Netflix, saying my account is being used in various places (all non-UK) and that I should change my password. I do not have a full/paid for Netflix a/c, but have the lower one as a bolt-on to my TV package. Even if it is actually happening, why should I care as it…

BT TV - Will Multiroom work if I purchase a BT Box Mini externally?
I have BT TV and pay for their Entertainment Package having moved from Sky, I'm happy with the service but wanted to try the service using the non-aerial mode to ensure I could get enough channels. I cancelled multiroom with Sky as part of the deal I had with them and my second TV doesn't have any smart apps on. Now I'm…

Do I need a TV Licence to do this...
The only live TV I watch is news programmes like Sky and GB News, I never watch the BBC. But according to the rules I still need a licence. But then I thought of a possible workaround... If I watch these channels over the internet, so not through an aerial, I still need a licence because it's live TV. However when you…
