My widowed elderly mum has been charged a monthly subscription to BT Sports (TNT), even though I cancelled this service many months ago (possibly 18+ months), and the service hasn't been available throughout that time, having spoken to BT they have said they'll consider refunding three months even though I made them aware…

Now TV with EE broadband?
I'm with Sky at the moment. Broadband is a bit useless and looking for a change. I'm looking at EE full fibre broadband (with EE for mobiles, and I think I can get an additional discount). EE does not include a landline. Fine, we don't use it (apart from answering nuisance calls), it can definitely go for phone calls, but…

Am I going to be in trouble?
I've just discovered the TV licence is in my late husband's name. He died five years ago. I didn't think about checking it. I thought it was in my name and I just carried on paying for it from my bank account. Now I'm 75 and I wanted to find out if I could have a free licence. That's when I discovered my mistake. Will I be…

TV Licensing Scaremongering
I'm fed up receiving threatening letters from the TV Licensing people and my 72 year old mother forwarding the same scaremongering letters to me as well. Me and my mother receive them a couple times a year saying "an enforement officer is scheduled" or you'll be prosecuted and fined up to £1000, 1 in 8 lie about needing a…

Contacting Sky
Is there a number for retentions? I tried using 03337593174 and had a boatload of options, eventually got through to someone (don't know who) took a couple of details and the line went off. Tried again and stated a 60min wait.

Sky Contract End Email
I have just received an email from Sky telling me that I will save £300 a year if I do nothing at the end of my minimum term in September. When I look at my future bills my £300s worth of savings translates to an extra £8 per month or 11% increase. The only ‘good thing’ is that there is no contract renewal. I suppose that…

Are Freesat boxes really this bad?
I am thinking of ditching Sky and getting Freesat. I used to have an aerial but when the soffits were repaired I removed it but didn't replace it. I have Sky Q so will have to buy a Freesat box. I have a friend who has a Freesat box so I asked him what it was like and had a look at his Freesat box. It was like Windows 3.1,…

Moving to Community Fibre - can I still get Sky Sports & BT Sports?
I've had enough of Virgin's intermittent & slow broadband, so I'm moving to Community Fibre as they come really recommended in my area. However, we are big fans of Sky Sports & BT sports, so I need to know how to get access to these channels without the Sky/Virgin subscription. I've been looking into NOW TV, which has a…

Discovery+ question
Anyone here subscribe to Discovery+ ? If so, is the whole series 19 of Deadliest catch available to view, or are they only releasing weekly episodes. I think there are, so far, 10 episodes, plus part 2 of 10, so 11 available. I'm not sure how many in the season, usually about 16-18, I think. *No spoilers please! 😉*

Sky: Will the HD box still show Freeview if I leave?
I'm currently paying £72 for standard TV Sky channels + Sky Sports. This is without Broadband... I know... rip-off. With summer here, I'm wanting to watch less TV and more time out and about. When I phone up and cancel everything, will the Sky+ HD box (never got Sky Q), show plenty of freeview/freesat channels? I…
