MacBook Pro 16” - where to buy
Hi My daughter needs to buy a MacBook Pro 16”. As expected prices are very expensive. She doesn’t need the latest edition. She would be happy with a second hand or refurbished. Her ideal model would be the 2021 M1 16gb 16 inch. Most places we have looked Apple, Costco, Curry’s, John Lewis all only have the latest M2 M3…

Where do you start with a 3D printer?
This might sound like an obvious/silly question but I’m genuinely baffled. So, I want to invent/make a specific shelf for the back door of our camper van. There’s nothing on the market because there’s probably no demand and each shelf would be unique to each vehicle conversion. So I want to make shelf, but surely for it to…

Coffee machine descaler
I've had a L'Or Barista coffee machine for a few months, and it is nagging to be descaled. Is there a favourite descaler for this sort of machine? I have some citric acid crystals, and I could make my own descaler liquid. Would that be a bad idea? How do you get the taste out, and what do you recommend please?

Using 4K Computer Monitor with Amazon Fire Stick (also 4K)
I have a 43 inch Philips monitor which I would like to use occasionally with my 4K Fire Stick. The monitor has two MHL-HDMI ports (as well as two Display Ports for computer input). It has built in stereo sound which is OKish but far from ideal. The monitor does not have a remote so the only way of accessing the menus or…

Headphones are Bluetooth only Plane needs plug in Jack headphones. What device do you use?
Hi guys Not sure if this has been asked before but I’ll try, and I’ll try and make it simple. On our 10 hour flight there was a screen on the seat back showing films etc. all passengers were given free PLUG IN headphones. To say the sound was rubbish is an understatement. Such a shame because my Bluetooth ONLY Sony…
