Best music subscription plan to recommend me ?

Hi All, please can you share your recommendations on what might be the best music listening subscription service for me.
I was with Amazon music unlimited single device plan (£5.99) per month, but now I’d like to have two Amazon Echo devices. One in my bedroom and one in my lounge, when I set it up I got switched to the £20.99 family plan for having two devices.

I only have one Amazon account, Is it possible to set the two echo’s up and go on the individual plan instead ? Not sure if there’s a way, or maybe you can recommend another music subscription cheaper that can accommodate two different echos on the one account ?

You can have as many devices on the individual plan as want. It's not the number of devices that dictate the package, I've got four Alexa devices around the home mixed in with six Google devices, all on one account. No idea why they switched you.

Yep, simultaneous streaming on 2 or more Echos needs the higher cost plan. Usually the system will just ask if you want to swap the single stream to another device.

OP didn't mention simultaneous streaming.... I read it that he wanted to use the bedroom and lounge as separate devices...

Please advise me as I’m clueless. Ultimately I would like to be on the cheapest plan so £11.99 if it’s possible to be on the individual price plan with the two echo’s?

I’d like to listen to music in the lounge, then not have to carry the echo to the bedroom when I’m there, which is why I’m hopeful to have two echos. I’d happily listen to the same music. I hope that makes sense. It’s just me listening, not any family
So how would I be able to sync them, so they’re not individual devices playing but rather just two separate rooms playing the same music ?

You should be able to say something like "Play S Club 7 everywhere" and it will play on all your Alexa enabled devices. I can't quite remember if you have to set that up in the Alexa app, but if you need to, its quite simple.

That will sync the music too, so it sounds fine even if you can hear more than one device, or are moving between rooms.

You can also set up groups if you have multiple devices and say "Play Bananarama <group name>".

You'll only need the more expensive account if you want to play different steams on different Alexa enabled devices.

Yes, the OP needs to put multiple Echo players into a Group or (Groups), e.g. "house" and then say "Play my favourites on house"

This grouping of Echo players is how you can create a room music system of an Echo Sub and two Echo players handling left and right channels for stereo. Sounds quite decent with an HD stream.

Pretty sure you can just say "Play my favourites everywhere" without having to set up that group. I'm not at home to try it now, but I don't have an "everywhere" group in my Alexa app, and that does work for me.
