Cambridge to Winchester to Brighton to Cambridge by public transport
I'm looking to travel from Cambridge to Winchester and from there go to Brighton for a few days before returning to Cambridge. Will I have to buy three separate single train tickets (Cambs to Win; Win to Btn, Btn to Cambs?) or is there a cheaper option?

Compensation for having to book a hotel?
I was due to travel from London Euston to North Wales this evening but the whole of Euston was shut due to a fire at Leighton Buzzard and all trains were cancelled. I had no way of getting home so had to book into a hotel overnight. I know I can do a delay repay for the train delay but does any one know if I can get…

Edinburgh to Glasgow - Rush Hour, Airport and Living
I am working in Edinburgh for a few weeks and will be doing the commute to my accommodation in Glasgow every night about 5pm. Earn Avios on train tickets
Just a heads-up: most or all train companies have stopped giving Nectar points and withdrawn from Top Cashback. However, I found that one can still earn Avios by buying train tickets from Travel for Wales and clicking through to them from the BA online store. The points were credited very quickly. (Top Cashback does still…

East Midlands Railway extreme increases
I travel to London from Corby once a week for work. Previously, I'd pay £34 for the advance return ticket, leaving at 6:11, and return journey at 16:17, this went up to £37 after the 1 March increase, fair enough. Then after Easter, it suddenly jumped to £75, or even £91 if I look at tickets 12 weeks away. I've contacted…

Problem with Railcards bought from The Train Line
When I recently renewed our Railcards for 3 years, I happened to use The Train Line (hoping to use a discount code, which didn't work). Having then used the clunky process of linking them to our Thameslink keyGo Smartcards (which had worked perfectly well with the old Railcards), I found that our first journeys using the…
