Hi, our Transpennine train was cancelled, we were told by a station advisor that we could use the Avanti train but would have to wait an hour, I've tried to get a refund for the delay, but it has been unsuccessful as they have stated there wasn't a train at that time even though we've got etickets with the time??? Not sure…

Railcard won’t refund
Hi all, I bought a 26-30 railcard as I started taking the train to work in the morning, but the staff on the train told me there is a minimum spend of £12.99 before 10am. I immediately contacted railcard to ask them to cancel (not within 24 hours though!) and they won’t refund. Do I have any rights?

C2W 12 months or 48 months
I'm considering buying an electric bike which is £4k and the C2W scheme allows me to pay monthly repayments over 12 months up to 48 months. Since my total "saving" from tax and NI relief is the same whichever period I choose my initial thought was why not just go for the 48 months of much lower monthly repayments. But is…

Seat Reservation - No specific seat(s) reserved What's that mean?
I've just picked up my tickets for a journey on Monday morning. I have my outbound ticket; a seat reservation on the first leg (all OK) and a seat reservation coupon for the second leg which says "Coach * No specific seat(s) reserved". I know this is a service that doesn't usually offer reservations anyway so what's the…

Advanced Tickets
I’ve been trying to find cheap advanced tickets for a return journey Skipton to Newcastle. Having tried numerous dates over the next three months there don’t seem to be any significant reductions. The best I seem to find are about £40 compared to normal prices about £50. Have advanced tickets been hiked up so they really…
