Withdrawing cash in Portugal?
So there has been lots of discussion about high ATM fees in Spain. I shall be in Spain for a month, but will arrive at Faro airport in Portugal. Is there a cost-effective way to withdraw Euros there (or in town) before taking the bus to Spain? Or perhaps the banks in Portugal follow the lead set by their Spanish colleagues.

Can't buy travel insurance more than 1 year in advance
I've booked a holiday for end of July 2024. I've tried to buy travel insurance, as Martin Lewis says, buy it ASAB! But lots of websites are telling me that I can't buy insurance as my holiday is over a year away! So what protection do I have in the meantime if I have issues before end of July this year?

On the beach - after booking, changes price
Is this normal ? I booked a holiday through OTB and got a call the next day saying that as the children are 15 & 12 years old, they need to put the price up by 600 pounds ! The deposit was not taken from my account (nearly 2000), so I know we are not then in contract. But, is this not false advertising ? They said to me…

What is your favourite travel insurance provider?
During my last holiday abroad my son became very ill with pneumonia, this resulted in my partner and him staying behind for almost 3 weeks.
