IBIS hotels in Amsterdam

Has anyone stayed in these please? I am familiar with IBIS and have had good experiences in several cities but have read some very mixed reviews about the one by the Central Station (apart from convenience for travel). I tried to book it earlier today via the ALL site but it kept rejecting my bank card info despite trying cards from different banks. I know the rooms are small but are there other problems too?
