Bread not rising enough before baking it kicks in.
I have to switch off my panasonic breadmakers (I've got two) just before they bake, as they don't rise enough. After an hour or so, I bake for 50 minutes. Lost recipe using Birds custard powder.
Years ago my Mother got a recipe booklet using Bird's custard powder and Dream topping. There was a recipe for a Walnut and Caramel slice which had custard powder in the base. I have lost the booklet and wondered if anyone had the recipe?
