My ex and I have a nearly 3 year old boy G. We share childcare and since he went to nursery 2 years ago, it has worked quite well. He goes to each Nana's on a Monday, his Dad has Tuesday off so he has him and overnight, he then goes to nursery on Wednesday and Thursday, and I have the day off on Friday. So currently he is…

not yet pregnant but offer of lovely baby things
Hi we're not yet pregnant (trying to save a small pot of money) but my sister in law has just offered our nephew's old cot etc which is really good quality and lovely. They have no room for storage but we have a big attic it could go away to- is it crazy/unlucky to accept it? ?

Insecurity
Hey! I've just returned from backpacking around the world for the last 12 months. Since I have been travelling I think my self confidence has improved massively but not when it comes to guys. I find it hard to attract guys because I give off vibes that I'm not interested because I'm shy. When I have managed to attract a…

Cot mattresses
As a grandmother to (almost) five children, I often have them at my house during the day or even overnight. I am currently looking to buy a cot bed so that they can sleep when they need to. I have a cot bed mattress with a removable cover and thought maybe I could use this to save a bit of money. It was my almost four year…

Love my new 9kg Washing Machine
What a saddo, I am well chuffed with my new Beko washing machine. It is a 9kg load. It's amazing, I got 3 lots of bed stuff in it in one hit. I swear by Beko, they just keep going and going. An ordinary daily washload only takes half an hour. It's also quiet on the spin and does a 15 minute wash which is amazing. I will…

Cringey SMA baby milk ad!
Honestly the bit where they say 'we've really gotten to know mums?! And you're doing great.' Anyone else find this horribly patronising and condescending? Do mums needs SMA or anyone else to tell them they're 'doing great?' ;) Makes me cringe... Oh THANK you SMA for your approval: all the mums feel sooooo much better…

Birthday Parties for older children soo expensive.
I have spent a fortune I think on Birthday parties this year around £200 per one. Am I stupid or just love my boys? Or is this the average. One was a two hour canal cruise and the other at a Snowdome. How can I do it cheaper or should I just have a good old knees up at the local village Hall for £30 plus food and invite as…
