We had a scan done at 34 weeks and two days the FL was 62.0mm the HC was 331.0mm and the AC was 308.9mm the HC is about 38 weeks and the Femur length seems small from others I have read about at this time of pregnancy. Anyone have any similar measurements or information please?

Remember published figures are averages. Did the sonographer mention it or raise any concerns? Are you under consultant-led care? I'm guessing ( and correct me if I'm wrong), as you're asking us, that none of the health professionals have raised concerns. I do appreciate how worrying a time it is, but try and remind yourself that stress is one of the worst things possible for yourself and baby, and take steps to address it if you feel fears spiralling out of control (easily done ), be that talking to your midwife, or just freinds, family, or even us!
One of the best pieces of advice I was given regarding the growth charts once my first daughter was born was to remember that Anything within the 1st to the 100th centile on the growth charts is considered normal. A 9lb birth weight baby will have a larger head at week 35 than a7lb birth weight baby in the same proportions for example. Sending virtual hugs and reassurances.0 -
So you have a short legged baby with a big head. I had one of them too. My aunty who was a midwife before scans told me I'd need a section and the consultant agreed (I am 5ft tall). I did indeed have a short legged baby with a big head. When he started school aged nearly 5 he had trousers on aged 3-4 with the hem turned up 3 times. I'm not sure when he grew into his head....probably aged about 6 or 7. Several of his schoolmates were the same. Aged 10 he has normal head size but he still wears 9-10 trousers and aged 10-11 tops so his legs are still a size behind. He is totally normal, scores exceptionally well in literacy and hates maths.
What I wish I'd known when he was a baby is that it's normal for a baby who will probably only grow to be about 5ft 6 inches not to guzzle down as much milk/formula as a baby that has a father over 6 ft tall and will probably grow to be the same.
p.s my 32 week growth scan (due to my illness not his) said he would weigh about 5.5 lbs at birth. He was 7 lbs 10.5oz at 37 weeks gestation when he was born.0
