Joint Tenants separating
Unmarried, joint tenants and now separating. Mortgaged property. I’ve put significantly more money into the property, 80/20. I can prove what I’ve paid on deposit, home improvements etc. House has increased in value by a sizeable sum as a result. Partner wants 50/50 of equity as joint tenant. Have I been naive here? I…

Little Baby Bum
My granddaughter loves the animal sounds concert on Little Baby Bum. The Animal Sounds Song for Children | Nursery Rhymes | by LittleBabyBum! | Somewhere, in another episode, I saw a clip that showed a newspaper pretending to have a review of that concert (probably only 5 secs?). But there are hundreds of episodes, and I…

My Dad lives in England and moved to a care home and is rapidly running out of money. The other is a small house in Bradford bought 2 years ago for £54k that earns him…

School iPad scheme
I can only find older threads regarding this - my youngest child’s school has just changed to an XP school and we are being strongly encouraged to buy an iPad through their school scheme - seems out of touch with current financial constraints ( redundancies) and surely kids have spent enough time on devices ? But just…

Undertakings in place of Non-Molestation Order?
I have applied for a Non-Molestation Order against my ex-partner. We've had the initial hearing and she has asked for me to consider accepting Undertakings instead of pursing the NMO. We've now agreed on the terms of the Undertaking and I am happy for us to proceed on this basis. We have the final hearing booked for the…

Splitting Money Following Medical Negligence Claim
Hello there, My wife’s family has been awarded financial compensation (almost £100,000) following a medical negligence claim. Former friend sends insensitive messages in sympathy cards
My colleagues used to be friends with a a former colleague (lets refer her as S) who we fell out with due to her lying. Plus she became racist. This happened 6 years ago. Pet Insurance for 10 animals, insure or save?
We have 10 pets (mixture of strays, given to us and all that jazz) 4 dogs, 6 cats. Quoted with Bought By Many for 15k worth of cover = £2506.57 per year. My partner and I have different opinions, he says we shouldn't insure and just save, I disagree. Whilst saving 2.5k a year would be great especially if none of them need…
