e.on - How do you go about claiming back a credit balance in my account (£250).
I have emailed them at the recommended hi@eonnext.com but all they sent me was a copy of my statement showing my credit balance. Has anyone been able to get a credit balance refunded back to their bank account? If so what is the best way forward? Thanks

Domestic RHI after flooding
I installed an air source heat pump in 2019 and started to receive domestic RHI payments. In 2020 my house was flooded so the outside heat pump was beyond repair & I was unable to live in the house. My supplier, British Gas, accused me of stealing because my meter was going backwards. Consequently they visited my property and changed my meter. My bills increased as time went on. As a result of their unfounded accusations I changed my supplier to M & S Energy. As we all know this past 18 months has not been easy and as…

Mis-selling problem
Hello all, I was a Green Network Energy customer. My account has now been automatically transferred to EDF. When I swapped my dual fuel account to GNE I did so based on their figure of £80 and some pence p.c.m., given the details of my previous bills and usage. It became apparent that I had accrued a large debt during the…

SYMBIO EMAIL
I have recently received a very long email from Symbio. I have a lot of misgivings about it. This is a small excerpt. Will someone knowledgeable analyse its implications? We have therefore added functionality to our system which will allow a more familiar model. We detail the changes below but it is important we reiterate…

Switching from Economy 10 - a metering query
Hi all. Until recently, my Dad has been on the same "Storage Heater" tariff with SSE / Southern for many years. Although they didn't call it Economy 10, it was certainly characterised by having three meter readings to take - for Day use, Night use and a time-limited 'Storage Heaters' reading. < For clarity, as well as the…

Energy company scamming us
I was with Eon and switched to S hell. I gave both companies the changeover meter reading. Eon handed on to shell a vastly inflated (over 2.5 times my usage) fictitious reading. Then tried to claim this £800 deficit from me. Then I got caught between shell and eon, shell also using a much lower start fictitious reading. It…

Energy Club's 'no exit fee' option does not work for PFP contracts
For several years I have used the Energy Club to to either find a good price or do the switch. Difficulties were rare until I tried PFP's 'Fixed - May 2022 - Green v1' a short while ago. The first problem was that PFP refused to honour their energy holiday promise and so I left after less than two months but PFP are now…

Oil fired boiler in Narnia
We have an oil fired boiler which has become increasingly cranky. The pump has been replaced, it's better, but we still have an intermitent fault. The house had an annex we let as an Airbnb, the boiler is located through a door in the back of the built in wardrobe so once we have a guest we cannot access it to press the…
