Luxury Wood Company reduce size of 'giant' crates without telling customers.

We’ve bought firewood from the Luxury Wood Company for a couple of years now, but when we received our latest crate we noticed that it was smaller than the ones we’ve received previously (which we had cut-up and made into woodstores).
We checked the website, which still had the old measurements on it 1.7 x 1.2 x 0.8m, but the current crate was only 1.1m (not 1.2m) wide.
It isn’t a huge difference perhaps, but still amounts to quite a lot of wood – especially for the company if they’ve done this across the board without telling anyone.
I contacted the company who have offered me a £30 voucher for my next purchase, but I’m not keen to accept this as their prices have already increased greatly since we started buying from them (by about 40%) and we were already tempted to order from somewhere else this year. There’s no guarantee what size they’ll send to us next year.
Has anyone else received smaller crates than expected?
Any advice as to how I can proceed now?
Their website still says 1.2m in the size of the crate:

Thanks.

It's probably due to the shortage of supply.. and the massive increase in timber costs.

Do they burn in a luxurious manner >>

I cannot believe that wood is being commercially kiln dried before burning it. Absolutely bizarre.
What's wrong with storing it outside so it seasons?0 -

my coal merchant tells me that logs are now in short( ish) supply,as increased gas prices are making folks look towards their fireplaces. Looks like society has come full circle!0 -
Our local saw mill offers kiln dried wood and uses the waste produced in the saw mill to fire the kilns. The wood is from our local forests, oak, beech, ash etc., so low miles and keeps local people employed, its also great value for money
Kiln drying allows them to turn around the wood in a few days rather than months and TBH you get a more consistent product.
I have bought from Luxury wood, but yes loads are smaller and costs have gone up so much they aren't viable to me anymore
I also gather my own wood as well, but it feels like you are forever sourcing, chopping, stacking and seasoning, and its gone in a few weeks. Even so I still do it
