Deadhappy.
I have or had, not sure a policy with DeadHappy. I need to change my address as no longer living at previous address where the mail could be sent. I'm being pushed from pillar to post about who to contact as the company no longer exists, I'm really unsure of what to do other than cancel the direct debit at this point.

Car insurance quotes through mse
How is it possible once receiving a quote through MSE (3rd party) then heading to quotation site re applying exactly the same details and then having a 31% increase on previous quote.... ? Is this a massive time consuming scam and false marketing?

Home insurance completed wrong
Hello Wondering if anyone can advise. Does a mistake on my home insurance details matter if correcting it actually reduces the risk? For example, because we weren’t completely sure what constituted a flat roof, (whether a dormer counts, for example) we listed it as ‘up to 25% flat’. Now coming to renewal we’ve realised…

Car Insurance NCD Question
Good Morning all, hope everyone is well. I am buying a new car and I am quite confused on how NCD works. I have just taken out insurance again for the new year, on my current vehicle knowing I would be buying a new car about this time. I am starting to look at cars, and will buy one within next few weeks. As I am currently…

Since then my partner has been diagnosed with blocked arteries that requires heart by pass surgery. He started with chest symptoms five years ago and went see his GP who put…

Cancel for any Reason Travel Insurance
I take it no UK insurers provide this additional cover, even at additional cost. I have had issues where close friends have taken ill or passed away just prior to going on holiday. Insurances cancellation cover, at best, covers the impacts of a close relative, but they do not take into account where friends can be as…

adding a baby to annual travel insurance
A couple already have annual travel insurance. They now have their first baby and wish to travel. Obviously a baby can't have travel insurance on their own as they don't travel alone. Can they be added to a policy that is already part way through the year? If not, then the other option would be for one of the adults to…

Who should complaint go to?
I hope someone is able to help. We're with direct line and never made a claim. We had to call home emergency as we have hot water but no heating. Direct line's home emergency is run by AXA. I got this information over the phone and isn't documented within policy. They asked if the boiler had been serviced within 18 months.…

Life Insurance cancelled
I recently received a letter from Aviva stating they were stopping my DD payments, and closing my Life Insurance policy as it had completed its 19 year term. I was under the impression it was a whole life policy, but as it was taken out 19 yrs ago I do not have the original paperwork and therefore no details of the Policy.…

New driver - car insurance
I'm about to change my car and was shocked how much it would cost to add my son to car insurance (not long passed his test). I know it would be a lot, but its a LOT. I've tried adding other drivers, even changing the type of car, slightly older models etc and nothing is making much difference. Before I accept defeat and…

Insurance renewal price
Hi, I insured some sports equipment with Insure4sport in 2023 for £68 which included a 30% intro discount - renewal price this year was £194 !! - when I checked the same cover if I was a new customer it was £65 - I queried this with the company as I thought legislation had been introduced to stop this practice - the agent…

Partner and I both diagnosed and successfully treated for cancer latter part of 2024 so obviously off to the Maldives! Having been depressingly refused by Admiral and given other quotes of £1,400+ found 'paying too much'. Absolutely delighted with our joint annual policy cost of £420! Please post!!

Is "Uninsured Driver Promise" worth paying extra for if you have Fully Comp anyway?
Hiya - I am about to renew my car insurance (fully comp, legal assistance, courtesy car, NCD protection etc.), but when I go to pay they tempt you with "uninsured driver promise" for an extra £100 pa or £8 pm. Do I really need that? I'm happy to risk paying any excess in the event that happened and happy to risk losing…

My house is almost at the top of a hill. At the bottom is River Douglas but it is no wider than a canal which is alongside it. It would take the rains of noah to flood it.
