Windows 11 and Microsoft Money
New PC arriving with Windows 11 and looking to continue using Microsoft Money on it. Digging around online I see suggestions that both the Sunset Edition and the 2005 edition should run, but each one seems to create some problems some times. I know there are quite a few users of Money on here - any advice on which of the…

Cashing a Coventry Building Society cheque. HSBC on cheque too?

How can some banks do instant transfers and others not
The usual excuses given for not being able to transfer money instantly may be valid, but then, how come some banks manage it? I tend to choose those banks that offer genuinely instant transfers, so why do the others follow suit?

Halifax App Screenshot Block on iPhone - is there a workaround?
I understand that most banking apps disable the facility to take screenshots on Android devices "for security reasons" but this has never been possible on Apple devices, and I've been merrily screenshotting away for years. However, Halifax (and presumably Lloyds too) have recently found a way to intercept the screenshot…

HSBC and ways to complain online - are they chopping customers' hands?
Hi All, I had no need to contact HSBC for some time but had to do so last week. vehicle to open an Executor/Administrator account for Estate proceeds. All the banks appear to have different…
