NatWest Banking offer Issue
Hi all, I have completed the NatWest requirements but they are telling me I have another account under NatWest group and have had the switch offer before in April of 2024. But I haven’t had an account with anyone associated to NatWest. I want my switch bonus! Any recommendations?

Lloyds Bank online does not show pending credits or debits.
We recently switched
from HSBC to Lloyds, opening a Club Lloyds Account for a nice £200
bonus plus free Disney+. With HSBC we could see
upcoming credits and debits a day or two before they were posted.
This gave us time to ensure that they were valid and that there was
enough money in the account to cover debits. On a…

Barclays Removing overdraft
I have been with Barclays for nearly fifty years. And in that time, even as a student, I can't remember having to use an overdraft. However, at the moment I am keeping all my funds in fixed bonds or high-interest accounts where moving cash incurs a penalty, so the short-term cost of an overdraft may be cheaper than the…

TSB switch - cashback on 20 debit card payments per month
I switched to TSB recently for the switching payment plus the additional cashback offered on making 20 debit card payments per calendar month. They took a while sending the PIN through the post so I didn't have much time to rack up the 20 payments for September but I thought I'd done it in time, however I have noticed that…

TSB account - Identity Fraud
At the end of August or very early in September someone opened a TSB account in my name. The account was opened with an address of a house that we had sold at the end of February. I had set up Royal Mail forwarding and the debit card and new account details were forwarded by Royal Mail to my new address - fortunately,…

Nationwide Online Current Account Statements missing
We used to get our FlexAccount statements as pdf from online banking. Nationwide have changed their website so that you now have to select the account for which you want a statement from a drop-down list. The drop-down list shows all my savings accounts but does not show my FlexDirect account, so I am unable to get the…

NatWest Rooster & Google Pay
I was wondering whether anybody is having the same issues I'm currently having with my teenagers (13 year old) NatWest Rooster account. The account is advertised as being compatible with Google Pay, allowing teenagers to use their mobile phones to make contactless payments. I have followed all of the instructions on the…

Santander current account switch offer - DD question
Hi, I'm thinking of switching (my secondary) current account to Santander to get the £150 switch bonus. It needs to have 2 DDs set up to qualify. Do they have to have payments happening every month or do less frequent payments count too? I don't want to be caught out by a technicality... My council tax is paid by DD but…

Zing £30 offer
How long did people wait to receive their £30 in their Zing account after their £5 spend? I applied for the Zing card the end of October, and I made my purchase 5th November. It's now 3rd December and not received it yet. I know it said 'up to' 30 days but just wondered if anyone had received it sooner. Thanks

Advice Needed: Considering Moving Banks Again
Hi everyone, Here’s my thread for context: Rejected Twice for Starling Easy Saver and New Line with O2. I left NatWest earlier this year to save money on my business banking, and after doing my research, I decided to switch to Starling for business and personal. Unfortunately, based on my experiences over the past few…

HSBC Premier minimum monthly transfer
What is the minimum you need to transfer in every month to meet the 100k income requirement? I am guessing this is after tax so much less than £8333. Anyone who has been doing this for any length of time?

Chase / Switching
Thinking of opening a chase account for switching as they don’t seem to do hard credit checks, I’m guessing they are part of the switching service, also I’ve read you can open a secondary account with them so you can continue using chase if you want to, how does this work and will it still work with the bonuses being paid…

Child account is blocked
Hi, My child 14 years old has a TSB account, which has been blocked because of a credit of £5 to the account. What he told me he sold something through tiktok, and communication was through Snapchat. He is unable to contact that person through Snapchat now. TSB said to provide evidence where £5 came from and reasons. If he…

Have read through most of the…

LBG closing all my accounts on 18th May
As it says on the tin really. Today I've received 3 letters dated 15/3/23, from Lloyds, Halifax and BOS telling me that they will close my account 65 days from the date of the letter. I'm trying to work out why they have decided to do this. I suspect it may be related to one or a combination of the following: * I am…
