Vodafone yearly price rise based on out of contract price?
Hi - I've just signed up to Vodafone 100 Full Fibre service and wondered what the price rise in April will be based on. Do they calculate the increase (RPI + 3.9%) on the in-contract monthly price which is £26 (this is what i'll be paying for 24 months) or out of contract price £39?

Cancelling broadband disadvantages?
Hi all, I’m currently with Plusnet, who I’ve found to be pretty good, reasonably stable, faults fixed promptly etc. However, my contract expires shortly and there doesn’t seem to be any decent deals around, Plusnet would be £23.99 a month, Vodafone £24 and similar prices (and upwards) for other ‘proper’ suppliers. Are…

Broadband contracts and moving house
Hopefully can get advice on something that will be really obvious to other people, but not me! My current broadband contract with BT is soon to end and to get best price with BT they want me to renew for another 24 months - or I'll go with another supplier who will also tie me in to a contract. However, I hope to move…

No service for over a month - what compensation should I push for?
Switched provider last month to Yayzi on the City Fibre network, the install was booked for the 15th December but failed due to some access issue with Cityfibre needing to access a port owned by Openreach. They rectified the issue 5 days later, but I’ve never been able to get an internet connection on the line. Tried the…

Hello, I'm wanting to switch away from my current BB provider (Virgin) but I've run into a major stumbling block. For example: Openreach…

Sky Broadband - price hikes and service
Had a call from my tv provider sky offering 500mb speeds (Ultrafast+) for £31 - 18 month contract. I'm giving it some thought but wondered if anyone had an opinion on their service quality Also though... they are very opaque about in-contract price hikes. The discount I got remains the same but 'prices may go up'. Sure,…

Missing something?
Current Braodband contract ends 25th January, new provider Now TV offers the following: I have always gone for the 36Mb option as it's cheaper but it's the same price as the 63Mb, but Topcashback does make it cheaper, which makes me think why? What am I missing? Is the Topcashback below as they offer more for the 36Mb? I…

EE vs BT vs Plusnet
Hi Moving into a new build soon, and a bit confused about the differences between the three broadband providers mentioned. I will have FTTP. I’ve been told I’ll need to contact BT for broadband but when I search for deals most providers recognise my new address so I assume going with any of them is okay. But I’m struggling…

Pop Telecom new customer bribe
I opted to join Pop Telecom back in early September 2023, I seem to recall a deal whereby after x months there's a reward which reduced the overall monthly bill average. I'm not 100% certain and could be getting mixed up with some other deal I compared but i'm marginally more sure than not that there was some kind of…

Exit fees when someone taking over
We had to leave the broadband contract early and were charged fees, roughly equivalent to the charges for the remaining 3 months in the contract. We were initially told that the fees will be waived if someone registers before our contract gets cancelled, but the next tenant registered for the same broadband less than one…
