on old copper fibre. confused as to full fibre with landline capability.

im on old 80mbps copper fibre with a landline that i only really use for an auto dialler alarm.

so i need a full fibre option that can handle a tone auto dialler.

does anyone know who provides this option as part of the package and not an add on extra that comes with extra cost.

You need to have a word with the alarm provider and see if they have any solution for the changeover to VoIP.

Sky and Now provide a free PAYG VoIP line, others will charge.

Well, unless you are capable of doing the required re-wiring of the analogue extension phone sockets to the new fibre hubs/kit provided... there is likely to be a charge for that service.

Otherwise I suspect most full fibre that offer the plug-into modem/router of a standard analogue DTMF phone should work with a suitable re-jig of the house wiring...

You may also like to consider battery/inverter backup of the hub kit to maintain a phone line in the event of mains loss at the dwelling.

thanks all will see what deal i can get. i dont mind wiring the stuff up, ive run cat 5 all over the house my self so not a problem to change the extension.
