Virgin contract renewal offer

Hi there,
I'm wondering about other people's experience when coming to the end of their Virgin contract?
My Virgin contract is up in April and they have been contacting me with renewal offers.
I'm on the Big Bundle- 300gb broadband, TV and weekend landline calls( for in laws) and I pay £35 month for this.
They are trying to sell faster broadband - which I don't need -with the package I currently have for £42. Telling my current deal will increase to £74 a month from April.
I've had a good experience with Virgin, but am more than happy to use another broadband provider
Many thanks in advance
Campbell

Is there any competition in your area? You will get a better deal if you can compare VM's offering to others that might provide it. I use the WhatsApp messaging route for negotiating with VM. You have to be patient but I have found in the past they are willing to negotiate.
Best of luck.

5 months out seems very early to be seeking renewal deals, is this usual for VM?

Wonder if they are trying to move people onto new contracts with the annual increase in? So the OP's £42 would rise in April.Life in the slow lane1 -
