Just had a plaster and lath ceiling removed and was totally unprepared for the amount of dust/grime/black stuff, although I had been warned. Change a recipe into another cuisine

Sunday I bought a litle tub of the stuff,with chives in ti,thinking it was that Phili stuff...Anyway,it needs used up so can I add it to the mash I'm having for tea or would it be freezable?... Thanks.
