I'm doing the food, and we have got a clown coming to teach them tricks (not strictly o/s I know..but my husband hasn't read the huge magic tricks…

Orange vinegar based spray
I found this tip on Pinterest the other day. http://pinterest.com/pin/151433606190700864/ I put the peel from just one orange into a small jar and covered it with white vinegar. It has only been in there for about 3 days and smells absolutely delicious, no smell of vinegar at all, just fresh oranges. I am def going to top…

Does anyone manage without a washing machine?
I came across a website selling washboards, and this got me thinking - does anyone manage without a washing machine, and use the old fashioned board and mangle method instead? It's not something that I would do all the time, but I think I would give it a go once a week to save money. Eepecially for more delicate things.

Getting Sauce Out the Bottle!!
I'm hoping for a bit of help :rotfl: A recipe has called for Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (I'm making pulled pork, yum) we've had some in the cupboard for ages but we've never used it because we can't get the stuff out of the bottle! It's a glass bottle like ketchup and it just doesn't seem to budge. Seeing as I need quite a lot…

HM dried fruit/herbal tea?
I've been after a recipe for home-made apple tea, after having it round at someone's house a while ago. I think he called it 'apple tisane' or something like that. I would think the 'tea' would comprise dried apple with some sort of flavouring and maybe some lemon (?) I was just wondering if anyone on here has got a recipe…

Pizza base from dumpling mix?
A friend from work told me she uses the Te$co 55p dumpling mix to make pizza bases with and she said they turn out very nice. While I plan to try the "from scratch" recipes for pizza bases that I got from OS, I bought this dumpling mix for a quick pizza tomorrow. Trouble is I can't quite figure out how to turn it into a…
